Cap. ccclix.

"The Wrexham, Mold, and Connah's Quay Railway (Extensions) Act, 1866." [10th August 1866.] Enables the Wrexham, Mold, and Connah's Quay Railway Company to extend their Railway to Connah's Quay, and to make a Deviation in their authorized Railway, the Works to be completed in Four Years; authorizes the Company to raise for that Purpose a Capital of 100,000l. in Shares and 33,300l. by borrowing; to convert their Shares into Preferred and Deferred Half Shares, and to create Debenture Stock; also confirms Agreement in Schedule with the Proprietor of the Aston Tramway.

Cap. ccclx.

"The Sligo and Ballaghaderreen Junction Railway Act, 1866." [10th August 1866.] Renews and extends the Powers of the Sligo and Ballaghaderreen Junction Railway Company for the compulsory Purchase of Lands for Two Years and for the Completion of Works for Three Years from the passing of the Act; also authorizes the Company to raise a further Sum of 10,000l. by Shares and of 3,300l. by Mortgage, and to divide their Shares into Preferred and Deferred Half Shares, and to create Debenture Stock.

"The Brighton West Pier Act, 1866."

[10th August 1866.]

Recites that it is expedient to incorporate the Brighton West Pier Company, and to enable them to purchase Lands by Compulsion, and to raise further Capital.

Cap. ccclxii.

"The Downpatrick, Dundrum, and Newcastle Railway Act, 1866.' [10th August 1866.] Incorporates a Company for the Construction of a Railway from Downpatrick through Dundrum to Newcastle in the County of Down, to be completed in Five Years; the Capital of the Company to be 75,000l. in Shares and 25,000l. on Mortgage; protects the Quays and Harbour of Dundrum and Property of the Marquis of Downshire.

Cap. ccclxiii.

"The London, Chatham, and Dover Railway (New Streets) Act, 1866." [10th August 1866.] Authorizes the London, Chatham, and Dover Railway Company to make new Streets and Alterations of Streets for improving the Access to their Ludgate Station; authorizes the Kent Coast Railway Company to make a new Road at Ramsgate, and confers Powers and imposes Obligations on the Corporation of the City of London and the City Commissioners of Sewers with respect to the new and altered Streets; confirms Agreement set out in Schedule with the Apothe caries Company, and saves Rights of the Corporation of London and of the City Commissioners of Sewers. Schedule (Agreement).
