Of George W. Gunn, an Inspector of Beef and Pork
in the county of Cayuga.
To the Honorable the Legislature of the State of New York.
I, George W. Gunn, an inspector of beef and pork of the county of Cayuga, respectfully report, that for the year 1831, I have inspected and branded 63 barrels pork, 25 mess and 38 prime, total 63, also 110 barrels beel, 59 mess and 51 prime, total 110.
Value of mess pork, $12 per barrel, value of prime pork, $9 per barrel, value of mess bees, $10 per barrel, value of prime beef, $7 per barrel.
