Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That all officers and employes of the House including the Capitol police who were employed on the fifth day of House of Rep to certain employés of December eighteen hundred and eighty-one, and who have ceased or resentatives. who shall prior to the first day of February eighteen hundred and eightytwo cease, to be so employed, shall be paid a sum equal to one months pay at the rate they were severally receiving on the fifth day of December eighteen hundred and eighty-one, and an amount sufficient for this purpose is hereby appropriated out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated and the same to be immediately available Approved, December 21, 1881.
