ALEXANDER R. WHEELER, Forest County, was born in Tidioute, Warren County, Pa., July 10, 1889; educated in schools and was graduated from Yale Unithe public versity in 1911; received the degree of M. A. from Oxford University; is engaged in the lumber business; served with the French Red Cross 1915-6; States Army from May 15, 1917 to August served in the United 14, 1919; was Second Lieutenant and later First Lieutenant, Three Hundred Twelfth Infantry; promoted Seventy-eighth Division, to Captain of Infantry, to the House of Representatives in 1922. CLARENCE A WHITEHOUSE, County, was born April 30, 1880; was graduSchuylkill ated from Princeton University in 1902; admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania in 1904; served as district attorney of Schuylkill County, 1912-1920; elected to the House of Representatives in 1920; reelected in 1922. THOMAS MOORHEAD WHITEMAN, Westmoreland County, was born in Latrobe, Westmoreland County, Pa., March graduated from Latrobe High School in 1894, 12, 1877; was and from Dickinson College in 1899, with degree of Ph. B.; in 1900, degree of A. M. by Dickinson College; was was awarded graduated from Columbia University School of Law in 1902, with degree of LL.B., and was admitted to the practice of law in New York State, in the same year; in December, 1902, he helped form the Latrobe Printing and Publishing Company, of which he is president, and to establish the Latrobe Bulletin, of which he is managing editor; elected to the House of Representatives in 1918; reelected in 1920 and 1922.

WILLIAMS, Tioga County, was born at Tioga, Tioga County, Pa., June 23, 1859; educated in the public schools of Wellsboro; is trustee of the Green Home at Roaring Branch, treasurer of the Water Company and director of the Savings Building and Loan Association; estate of William Bingham of Philadelphia, connected with the since 1880; was elected to the Senate January 15, 1907, to fill a vacancy; served as a Republican presidential elector in 1908; elected to the House of Representatives in 1910; reelected in 1912, 1914, 1916, 1918, 1920 and 1922.

WILLIAMS, Allegheny County, was born in McKeesport, Allegheny County, Pa., January 23, 1878; and he was six years old his family moved to Duquesne; was educated in the public schools; has been a manufacturer of soft drinks for the past twenty-one years; has served four years in the Duquesne council and has always taken an active part in politics; elected to the House of Representatives in 1922.

GEORGE IRVIN WONER, Butler County, was born at Canaan Center, Ohio, June 13, 1870; educated in common schools and at Wooster University, Ohio, completing course in latter school in 1894, and received degree of A. M. in 1897; entered newspaper work as reporter in 1895; became editor and manager

of The Daily Republican, at Painesville, Ohio, in 1898; located at Butler, in 1906, as managing editor The Daily Eagle; became editor and manager The Daily Citizen in 1911; in 1913 organized The Ziegler Printing Company, Incorporated, and now conducts extensive printing and binding plant; president, Oakvale Realty Company; is active in public development, church, Y. M. C. A. and temperance work; president Butler Business Men's Association, three years, and County Sabbath School Association, one year; director Chamber of Commerce; elected to the House of Representatives in 1918; reelected in 1920 and 1922.

WILLISTON P. WOOD, born at Titusville, Warren County, was August 22, 1877; educated in public schools Crawford County, Pa., including Warren High School and Business College; is an oil producer at Grand Valley, where he has resided since 1878; delegate to Republican State Convention which nominated Governor Tener; elected to the House of Representatives in 1918; reelected in 1920 and 1922.

J. ANSON WRIGHT, Bedford County, was born near Alum Bank, Bedford County, Pa., April 6, 1870; began teaching at the age of sixteen, and was graduated from the Central State Normal School, Lock Haven, Pa., in 1889; was principal of schools one year at Hopewell, Pa., and nine years at Schellsburg, Pa., at which latter place he conducted each summer a Normal School for teachers; elected first in 1899, he served three terms superintendent of schools; since 1908 he has as county been cashier of Hartley Banking Company, Bedford, Pa.; has served as president of the Bedford borough school board; vice-president of Bedford Chamber of Commerce, and of Bedford County Sabbath School Association; was a four-minute man during the World War; elected to the House of Representatives in 1922.

SIMON F. ZOOK, Blair County, was born on a farm at Curryville, Blair County, Pa., March 31, 1887; was educated in the common schools and Juniata College, Huntingdon, Pa.; taught school four terms; salesinan was four years, a traveling and five bought his father's farm where he now reyears ago, sides; is a breeder of purebred Holstein cattle and Berkshire swine; is a executive committee of the Blair County Farm member of the Bureau; elected to the House of Representatives in 1918; reelected in 1920 and 1922.
