Whereas it hath been humbly represented unto His Royal Highness the Prince Regent, that, about one o'clock on the morning of the 31st of January last, the rick-yard of Mr. John Hoare, at Sutton Courtney, in the county of Berks, was discovered to be on fire, whereby two ricks of barley, and one rick of beans, were destroyed; and that there is every reason to believe the same was wil- fully and maliciously set on fire by some evil-disposed person or persons unknown;

His Royal Highness, for the better apprehending and bringing to justice the person or persons concerned in the felony above-mentioned, is hereby pleased, in the name and on the behalf of His Majesty, to promise His Majesty's most gracious pardon to any one of them (except the person who actually set fire to the said ricks), who shall discover his, her, or their accomplice or accomplices therein, so that he, she, or they may be apprehended and convicted thereof.

The Lords of His Majesty's Most Honourable Privy Council.

IT is this day ordered by their Lordships, that His Grace the Lord Archbishop of Canterbury do prepare the form of a Prayer and Thanksgiving to Almighty God for His late merciful preservation of His Royal Highness the Prince Regent from the daring attempts against His Royal Person, as He passed from the Parliament-House on Tuesday the twenty-eighth day of January last; such Prayer to be used at Morning and Evening Service after the General Thanksgiving, in all churches and chapels throughout those parts of the United Kingdom called England and Ireland, on the first Sunday after the Ministers of such churches and chapels respectively shall receive the same, and to be continued for fourteen days afterwards.

And it is hereby further ordered, that His Majesty's Printer do forthwith print a competent number of copies of the said form of Prayer and Thanksgiving, that the same may be forthwith sent round and read in the several churches and chapels throughout those parts of the United Kingdom called England and Ireland. It is this day ordered by their Lordships, that every Minister and Preacher, as well of the Established Church in that part of Great Britain called Scotland, as those of the Episcopal Communion protected and allowed by an Act, passed in the tenth year of Her late Majesty Queen Anne, cap. 7, intituled "An Act to prevent the dis"turbing those of the Episcopal Communion in "that part of Great Britain called Scotland, in "the exercise of their religious worship, and in "the use of the Liturgy of the Church of Eng"land; and for repealing the Act, passed in the "Parliament of Scotland, intituled An Act against "irregular baptisms and marriages," do at some time during the exercise of the Divine Service in such respective church, congregation, or assembly, put up their prayers and thanksgivings to Almighty God for His late merciful preservation of His Royal Highness the Prince Regent from the daring attempts against His Royal Person, as He passed from the Parliament-House on Tuesday the twentyeighth day of January last. MEMORANDUM.

His Royal Highness the Prince Regent has been pleased, in the name and on the behalf of His Majesty, to grant permission to the 2d Battalion of the 34th Regiment to bear on its colours and appointments, in addition to any other badges or devices which may have been heretofore granted to the regiment, the word " Albuera," in commremoration of the services of the battalion in the battle of Albuera, on the 16th May 1811.

His Royal Highness has also been pleased to grant permission to the 45th Regiment to bear on its colours and appointments, in addition to any other badges or devices which may bave been heretofore granted to the regiment, the words "Talavera" and "Busaco," in commemoration of the services of the regiment in the battle of Talavera in Spain, on the 27th and 28th July 1809, and in the action at Busaco in Portugal, on the 27th September 1810.
