Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Alfred Hatfield, late of Company I, Twenty-third Regiment Missouri Volunteer Infantry, and pay him a pension at the rate of twelve dollars per month, the same to be paid to him under the rules of the Pension Bureau as to mode and times of payment, without any deduction or rebate on account of former alleged overpayments or erroneous payments of pension.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Florian V. Sims, widow of Alexander Sims, late of Company G, Third Regiment Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry, and pay her a pension at the rate of twelve dollars per month, and two dollars per month additional on account of the minor child of the soldier until such child shall have arrived at the age of sixteen years, in lieu of that she is now receiving.
