2. Definitions. § 1. Short title. This chapter shall be known as the “ Navigation Law.

Formerly L. 1897, ch. 592, 8 1 part, as am'd by L. 1903, ch. 420, § 1. § 2. Definitions. As used in this chapter, the term “master” includes every person having for the time, the charge, control or direction of a steamboat or vessel; and the term “steamboat” or “steam vessel,” includes every vessel propelled in whole or in part by steam.
