Transactions of the State Board of Health From July First, 1912,
to July First, 1914.
In the following pages an aim is made to give only the matters that have been considered by the Board that seem to be of sufficient importance to justify publication. At the first-named date above and until June, 1913, the State Board of Health was composed of the following members:
Drs. C. A. Wingerter, Wheeling
C. W. Halterman, Clarksburg
Drs. J. E. Robins, Charleston
M. V. Godbey, Charleston
The transactions of the Board for the July meeting, 1912, are contained in the Report of the Board for the years 1910 and 1911, and are therefore omitted here.
November 11th, 1912. Special meeting of the State Board of Health was held at the Board of Trade Building, Wheeling; present Drs. M. V. Godbey, J. E. Robins, L. S. Brock, C. W. Halterman, C. A. Wingerter, A. N. Frame and H. A. Barbee, Secretary; absent, Drs. H. M. Rymer and R. E. Vickers. Thirty applicants for licensure appeared for examination, 19 of whom were white and 11 colored; 27 were regular physicians, 2 eclectics and 1 osteopath; all were males. The following were successful in passing the examination:
