Assistant-Surgeon William Johnstone Fyffe, M.B. from 3rd West India Regiment, to be Assistant-Surgeon to the Forces, vice Martelli, appointed to the 3rd West India Regiment. Dated 22nd August 1851.

Assistant-Surgeon John Irvine, M.D. from the 88th Foot, to be Assistant-Surgeon to the Forces, vice John Macnamara, M.D. who retires upon half-pay. Dated 22nd August 1851.

MEMORANDUM.

The appointment of Mr. Thomas William Lawson to an Ensigncy, by purchase, in the 1st West India Regiment, as stated in the Gazette of 19th August 1851, has been cancelled.

Admiral of the Blue George Mc Kinley, Esq. has been appointed to receive a pension of £150 a year, as provided for by Her Majesty's Order in Council of the 25th June 1851, vacant by the decease, on the 16th instant, of Admiral Sir Henry Heathcote, Kt., and his name has been removed to the Reserved Half Pay List accord

And in consequence of the above-mentioned removal of Admiral Mc Kinley to the Reserved Half Pay List, the following promotions have taken place, dated 17th instant:
