HIT OR MISS Was produced at Mr. Arnold's English Opera House, in the summer of 1810, and has since acquired great celebrity, not only at the above theatre, but at Drury Lane, Covent Garden, and the Haymarket, by Mr. Matthews's inimitable performance of Cypher ; the effect of which was not a little assisted by the justness of the satire.
This Farce continues on the stock list, and is often acted at all the above theatres.
