TH HE present Catalogue, which forms the second number of the supplemental series, includes all books and publications which were added to the Library from September 1891 to August 1895, the only exception being in the case of Government Reports. As the Library space is limited and its primary object is to be a working Library for the development of the Trustees' collection, it was deemed advisable to exclude from it all such Government Reports as had no bearing on the aim of the Library. It is for this reason that the present number does not include most of the Reports referred to in the original Catalogue and the 1st Supplement. This supplement has been compiled by Mr. H. B. Perie, the present Librarian, who has in general followed the form and principle of the two preceding issues so as to make it as uniform as possible with them. A. R. S.
