MOST GRACIOUS SOVEREIGN : W [Assented to 30th June, 1864.] HEREAS it appears by Messages from His Excellency Preamble. the Right Honorable Charles Stanley Viscount Monck, Governor General of British North America, and Captain General and Governor in Chief in and over this Province of Canada, and the Estimates accompanying the same, that the sums hereinafter mentioned are required to defray certain expenses of the Civil Government of this Province and of the Public Service thereof, and for other purposes, from the end of the year one thousand eight hundred and sixty-three, to the thirtieth day of June, in the year one thousand eight hundred and sixty-five :-May it therefore please Your Majesty that it may be enacted, and be it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Assembly of Canada, that— Revenue 1. From and out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund of this $6,797,144 66 Province, and the special funds. mentioned in the Schedule granted out of hereunto annexed in the cases therein referred to, there shall consolidated and may be paid and applied a sum not exceeding in the Fund and the whole six millions, seven hundred and ninety-seven thousand, special funds one hundred and forty-four dollars, and sixty-six cents, for mentioned in defraying the several charges and expenses of the Civil Government of this Province for the financial half year ending the Schedule. |
