PREFACE

Previous to the New Constitution, Labatt compiled and published two volumes of the District Court Reports of California, which court corresponds to our Superior Court of today. These reports have always been in demand by the profession, and the two volumes, because of their scarcity lately sold for $100.00. Myrick's Probate Reports of notable decisions, issued in one volume at about the same time, sells at $20.00.

In issuing the present volume of California Superior Court Decisions, certain notable cases of general interest have been selected, which it is hoped will be found of value to Bench and Bar alike.
